How to find Edgewild


Directions to Edgewild from the Twin Cities (approximately 150 miles):

Take Interstate 494 North (West) or 694 West to Maple Grove. At the 94/494/694 junction, follow 94 West/Northwest toward St. Cloud for approximately 10 miles.

Exit at highway 101 in Rogers and turn right onto Highway 101. Follow 101 (approximately 10 miles) to Elk River where 101 merges with Highway 169 North.

Follow 169 North approximately 60 miles, passing Princeton, Milaca, Onamia, then Lake Mille Lacs, to Garrison. (See map)

In Garrison (as you pass the big Walleye on your right), turn left onto Hwy 18/Hwy 6 for 4 miles until Hwy 18 and Hwy 6 diverge.

Turn right onto Hwy 6 toward Bay Lake and Crosby. Follow Hwy 6 for approximately 10 miles to Deerwood. (In Deerwood, Hwy 6 jogs left, then right.) You will come to a T at a stoplight at the junction of Hwy 6 and Hwy 210. At this stoplight, turn left (West) onto Hwy 210/Hwy 6 and follow for about 3 blocks. Turn right at the Citgo station (just past the big Deer) then follow Hwy 210/Hwy 6 toward Crosby.

Follow Hwy 210/Hwy 6 approximately 5 miles through Crosby until you come to a 4-way stop. (Hwys 210 and 6 diverge here.) Turn right (North, toward Emily) on Hwy 6. (You'll see a Subway on the left, Century 21 on the far right corner.)

Follow Hwy 6 approximately 18 miles to Emily. At the Citgo station, turn left (West) onto Hwy 1. Follow Hwy 1 approximately 5 miles to Fifty Lakes. Approximately 0.5 miles past Fifty Lakes, you'll see the EDGEWILD sign on the right (North) side of Hwy 1 at Kego Road. Turn Right (North) onto Kego Road and follow our signs approximately 2 miles into the woods until you reach EDGEWILD.

Additional information about East and West Fox Lakes, (including lake maps, fish stocking programs, water quality and sampling data) is available free of charge from the Minnesota DNR website. Click here, then enter "Fox", "West Fox" or "East Fox" in the Lake Name box. Enter "Crow Wing" in the County box. Then click the Search button. (The lake ID numbers are West Fox:18029700 and East Fox:18029800). To return to the Edgewild Web site, use your browser's "Back" button. .
