 Our guests receive complimentary access to canoes,
paddleboats, BBQ grills, picnic tables and campfire facilities.
Play horseshoes,
shuffleboard, or volleyball everyday! Swim out to our floating raft or lay and
play on our clean sand beach. Take the kids to our playground, or nature hike
through the woods on a cool, clear morning. And on the those rainy days, there
are board games, and a large library of great books for your enjoyment. Or pack
a picnic lunch and take the whole family on a leisurely bike ride on the famous
Paul Bunyan Trail. (We're
located just 2 miles north of Highway 1 along the
Manhattan Beach
Bike Route which connects to the trail in Pequot Lakes. .
 Bring your own boat or explore the lake in one of ours. We rent
boats and motors, dock space, and our "Large Party Barge" pontoon boat (great
fun for family outings!) by the day or week, for your enjoyment. We'll direct
you to boat launches and bait shops in the area, not far from the resort.

Horseback riding, local
waterslides, shopping, antique hunting, amusement parks, museums and fine
dining opportunities are also just a few miles away.
The Brainerd Lakes Area is quickly
becoming one of the country's most popular golf-vacation destinations. It's a
golfer's paradise! Over two
dozen courses featuring well manicured greens and fairways are woven among
breath-taking views of the surrounding lakes and woods, all within an half-hour
drive of Edgewild. You'll find several courses for all skill levels within 5
miles of the resort, including Emily Greens, Cross Woods, and Fairways at the
Barn. And just down the block from us, the gorgeous new Golden Eagle Golf
Course is within walking distance. (We predict we'll even find many non-golfers
enjoying the incredible view from the terrace over lunch when their new
clubhouse opens!)
